Hospitals and clinics receive thousands of inbound patient calls every week—ranging from appointment requests and payment questions to urgent health concerns. These interactions are often unstructured, hard to triage, and reliant on human administrators, creating bottlenecks and communication breakdowns. AppToHealth set out to build a scalable solution that could automate initial triage and task creation using AI and voice input.
We built a web-based B2B platform that uses natural language processing (NLP), sentiment analysis, and voice tone detection to recognize what a patient needs—and then automatically create tasks for hospital staff to follow up. The system integrates with existing back-office tools, creating a seamless bridge between the patient’s voice and the hospital’s workflow engine.
The platform significantly reduced call processing time and helped hospitals respond more efficiently to patient needs. By automating task creation and integrating with staff calendars and CRMs, AppToHealth freed up human resources and improved the speed and quality of care delivery. The solution is now being piloted across multiple healthcare networks.
