As part of Xsolla’s Moonshots innovation program, we helped design and develop Story3, an experimental mobile app focused on delivering personalized game recommendations through an immersive, story-like interface. Our work brought together intuitive UX, AI-driven content curation, and an agile productization strategy.

to MVP
Xsolla wanted to explore new ways of connecting gamers with relevant games and digital experiences. The core idea behind Story3 was to transform traditional product discovery into a more immersive and personalized journey—one that would increase user engagement, surface hidden gems, and drive conversions across partner titles.
The technical challenge was to create a mobile-first experience that dynamically adapts to user behavior and preferences, all while keeping content fresh, personalized, and context-aware.
We worked closely with the Moonshots product team to define the core experience, then rapidly designed and built a cross-platform mobile app using a modular architecture and a lightweight ML-driven recommendation engine. The app pulled from Xsolla’s catalog and adjusted content cards and layouts based on each user’s in-app actions, preferences, and engagement data.
The end goal was not just to test an idea—but to build a scalable MVP that could be refined, measured, and potentially brought to market.
The result was a visually rich, user-adaptive mobile app that turned content discovery into a scrollable narrative. The AI-powered recommendation engine delivered more relevant content as users engaged, which helped validate the hypothesis that personalization could drive deeper engagement and monetization.
The project set a framework for future AI initiatives at Xsolla and demonstrated the value of pairing experimental UX with machine learning logic in new product development.
